Dear Users,
Our hosting provider has scheduled a systems upgrade at 11:30 AM on Thursday, 5th September 2024. Please expect downtime in website functionality during this upgrade.
Dear Users,
To enhance the accountability in the utilization of CAL facilities, we have made certain changes in the Online-CAL slot booking portal. Currently, a booking by a research scholar is approved by the supervisor, which then directly goes to the Technical Staff for further action.
With the new system, once the supervisor approves a request, it will now also require an approval from the respective department HoD. During this process, both the supervisor and HoD will see a virtual cost associated with the booking based on the facility, number of samples, and/or duration. However, this is a virtual amount, which is being added to the Department exclusively for this utility, and hence does not result in any charge to the user.
The booking system is scheduled to be rolled out on a trial basis starting tomorrow (3rd August). We request you to use the same and provide us with your feedback in the Google Forms link given below in case you face any technical difficulties.
